Catching fire

I really enjoy reading that book, it includes much action, catching dialogs and also a tiny love story. In my opinion that are all the topics an excellent story/book needs. I already read all three tapes in German and I loved them. I read the first 20 chapters so far and I can’t wait for getting on soon.

Catching Fire

Summary chapter 1-10
After winning the 47th Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta removed back home to district 12. But everything at home has changed, including Katniss' relationship with Gale. She and Peeta have to keep their relationship alive, until the Victury Tour ends.
Before they can start the Victory Tour, president Snow makes  a visit to Katniss’ home and warneds her, that he is watching every single step of her. It is important for her to make all people believe that she only take the berry, because of her dateless love to Peeta and not because of a rebellion.
The tour’s first stop is district 11, the home of Katniss’ little friend Rue. Katniss isn’t able to follow the traditional rules, she said exactly that what she was thinking about. That was a big mistake, because it seems to be rebelliously challenging the Capitol. The people cheered and the keepers had to act and to kill an old man.
The tour moved on, Peter askes Katniss to be his wife and her answer is yes. After the tour ending everything changes. New and more keepers were sent to every district and the rules get stricter every day. One day Gale gets into troubles and whipped. Katniss’ mother is able to heal him.

Another day, Katniss meets two strangers in the wood, which tell her that they are rebel from district 13. Everybody thought that district 13 was destroyed and burned down, but it is alive.
